Established in 1990, the Australian and New Zealand Shakespeare Association (ANZSA) is a non-profit professional organisation that offers a forum to showcase national and international scholarship in the field of Shakespeare studies and performance.
The highlight of the events calendar is the biennial conference, which attracts international plenary speakers and delegates from around the country and overseas to present research on the conference theme.
Membership is open to all who have an interest in Shakespeare’s life and works, with a particular focus on scholarly criticism and theatre practice.
Members are kept up-to-date with relevant news and announcements through the ANZSA mailing list. Members are also eligible for special event rates.
